PGM.STUDIO is billed in days. You buy days in advance, and a day is used up when you start your studio on a day that is not yet paid for. There is no subscription, nothing renews by itself, and days you bought do not expire.

If you do not stream, you pay nothing. So three days can be used up within a week, or only within three months.

What a day costs

These are the prices of the beta phase. They are net prices; the statutory VAT is added.

Package Price (net) Per day
1 day €10 €10
3 days €20 €6.67
30 days €150 €5

You buy in the signed-in area on the “Credits” page. One credit is one day. Payment goes through Stripe; on the payment page you see the VAT and the total price before you pay. If you buy several times, the days are used up in the order in which you bought them.

What is in a day

Every day contains everything; there are no tiers:

  • up to 8 inputs over SRT,
  • up to 8 destinations at the same time (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, RTMP(S) servers of your own),
  • the RTMP pulldown: an address at which others pick up your program,
  • desk, faders, overlay and remote control,
  • as many hours as you want.

When a day is used up

A day is a calendar day in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Four rules apply:

  1. If you start your studio on a day that is not yet paid for, a day is used up. To start, you therefore need a day in your balance.
  2. On a paid day you can start and end your studio as often as you like. That costs nothing further.
  3. If you start from 18:00 UTC on, on an unpaid day, the day counts for the following calendar day, and the rest of the current day is included. The details are in Starting in the evening: the 18:00 rule.
  4. If your studio is still running at midnight UTC, the new day is charged.

Midnight UTC is 01:00 in Germany in winter (CET) and 02:00 in summer (CEST).

When there is no day left at midnight

An empty balance does not switch your stream off at once. If you have no day left at midnight UTC, the studio keeps running and your balance stands at −1. Only at the midnight after that is it stopped.

The −1 is settled with your next purchase. If you then buy the package of three days, for example, two remain.

Studios nobody uses close

A studio that is not on air and has not been touched for 60 minutes is ended automatically. That protects you from a forgotten studio running past midnight and costing another day. While you are on air, your studio is never ended for inactivity.

Do not rely on it when it gets tight, though: if you are done shortly before midnight UTC, it is best to end the studio yourself.

Three examples

The times are given in UTC.

A stream in the afternoon. You start your studio on Tuesday at 13:00, stream until 16:00 and end it. One day is used up. If you start once more on the same Tuesday at 17:00, that costs nothing.

A stream past midnight. You start on Wednesday at 15:00 and are on air until Thursday 01:00. Two days are used up: Wednesday at the start, Thursday at midnight. Had you started only at 18:00, it would have been one day thanks to the 18:00 rule.

The last day. You have one day and start on Saturday at 12:00. The balance stands at 0. If the studio keeps running at midnight, it stands at −1, and the studio runs all Sunday. At the midnight to Monday it is stopped.

When something is not right

For the first purchase there is a money-back guarantee, and consumers can withdraw from every purchase. How that works is in Money back: the guarantee for your first purchase, and withdrawal. If your studio fails on a paid day for reasons we are responsible for, we credit the day back to you, see Studio outage. Our terms and conditions are what is binding.
